Deep Junior and Scorpio have both had a poor tournament so far.
On the other hand, Hiarcs has been devastating.
Cheers,
Graham.

Re: European Selection v Rest Of The World Selection
Funny that how ppl from the "rest of the world" are ignorant about European geography and think, for example, that Russia is not in Europe, and on the other hand think that Turkey is...Graham Banks wrote:Europe

More than 80% of citizens of Russia actually lives in Europe, while only 10% of citizens of Turkey lives in Europe.

Re: European Selection v Rest Of The World Selection
wrong... Turkey is both , a part of Europe and Asian, until Istanbul is Europe and the Rest is in Asian, but Turkey is mostly to Europe oriented then to the Asian nations.
of course russia is a part of Europe now, but not all too.
i know, this tournament dont include all engines from Europe and Rest of the World, Grahams has decided to choice the engines for playing against each other, and he can do what he want to having fun, its not official Europe vs Rest of the World tournament

Re: European Selection v Rest Of The World Selection
Yep - it's just a selection of engines that was intended to produce a close match. However, it's not really turning out to be as close as I'd hoped this time.Engin wrote:this tournament dont include all engines from Europe and Rest of the World, Grahams has decided to choice the engines for playing against each other, and he can do what he want to having fun, its not official Europe vs Rest of the World tournament

Deep Junior games have to be replayed
I'll have to replay the Deep Junior games. I found a problem which has been affecting its performance.

Re: Deep Junior games have to be replayed
Yes. After updating Deep Junior to 12.5.0.3, I had copied the exe over into my ChessGUI folder without copying the new dll files over also. The result was that Deep Junior had been playing in "performance reduced" mode. Should have spotted this earlier, but didn't.Paloma wrote:Hello Graham,
