Your description on the rating list says "32b". Does this imply that there will be a separate 64 bit version?

I am not Chessbase, I don't know!

In general the IPON is testing the "best" possible version of an engine. For many enignes it is the 64 bit version. the '32b' is only used by me to show that there is only a 32 bit version of this particular engine.

Of course this does not imply that 32bit engines are inferior. It is a matter of perspective. It is as valid to say that bitboard engines are handicaped in a 32 bit enviroments while non bitboard engines runs equally perfect everywhere ... what is the better concept? I am not sure if it is already decided if bitboard engines or one of the other methods are the better solutions.

My personal opinion about Fritz in 64 bit is that I doubt a release (as for Hiarcs). The only benefit for them would be to avoid the repeating questions ... which might already be worth the trouble of compiling a 64bit version. :-)
