It's probably too late now, right?
I will try to make the next tournament.

Capital punishment would be more effective as a preventive measure if it were administered prior to the crime.

I thought there might be hope when I saw that there was a problem - that it might start late.hgm wrote:Yes, by about 2 hours... Currently only 2 rounds to go.

I only recently got home anyway.

Re: On-line engine blitz tourney December
Just for a point of interest, CraftyRB (Operated by Ray Banks) was version 23.6 with books that I created, and also used the adaptive hashing options. Looks like everything went well.hgm wrote:Code: Select all

Thanks for operating it today Ray.

I was kicked out of Chapters because I moved all the Bibles to the fiction section.

Does anyone have all the games from the tournament?

Re: On-line engine blitz tourney December
Could be that Joshua Shriver has collected them with a bot. If not, you could have the ICS e-mail the PGN to you, ("mailstored"), as they must still be in the history of the players. I don't collect them myself. The ICS keeps the last 40 games of each player.

After the tournament I found out that the king-savety term in the evaluation function was commented out
Probably I forgot to enable it after some recent tests I did.
Not to bad that is was still able to take 4th place.

Re: On-line engine blitz tourney December
Unfortunately I didn't have gamebot running
Have it running from my server now so will try and keep it up 24/7. This way games can be preserved.
-Josh
Edit: will gladly post monthly PGN dumps if people would enjoy that.
