Sure - just not by Graham.
I've actually run many, mainly 4CPU engines against the pre-MP Komodos and Strelka, plus I often include 1CPU engines in my 4CPU tournaments. .

The author should be congratulated for making an MP version of his relatively low-Elo engine. No other authors of similarly rated engines seem to have done that.

Being that the engine is an outlier, it is understandably difficult to test it fairly. Either you test it against much higher rated 4CPU engines, or you test it against 1CPU engines within its Elo range. Each of these situations is somewhat unfair.

And if it were to be tested against 1CPU engines, it should be tested against those that have an Elo about 80-100 points above the 1CPU version of the engine being tested. I say that because it appears to me that the run-up for going from 1 to 4 CPU for several other engines, is about 80-100 Elo.

My feeling exactly. Hopefully the games played are of some use to Andrew.
