I am steaming a 20 game match with Scorpio vs ClassicAra. GPU is Nvidia 2070 Super. Time Control 30 minutes all moves.

My suspicion was and is, install.bat for the special GPU should have some parameter- command added to download the right files and install them automatically in the right way.
As long as Daniel didn't tell me about
install.bat --trt 72
, it didn't work for me and my 3070ti neither.
One can find out if install.bat has worked properly by starting the engine in console and see if it starts playing there, if it doesn't, it can't work in any GUI neither, but I fear Krzysztof doesn't manage to come so far, (to console- diagnosis) so there won't be good offline chances for further help. Having error- messages of concern from console- mode, Daniel would be easily able to see the cause of the bug, without that, it's probably pure guessing regards

Download install.bat and execute it in different ways based on whether you have a GPU.
Also please don't just double click it as that will install scorpio wherever your current path is.
I recommend you open up a command window, cd to the directory you want scorpio installed, and then
exectue install.bat with different options.

I am very puzzled as to why people are having difficulty with installation.

Please please let me know what is not clear in INSTALL.md so that I can improve it

So far from this thread all I can conclude is that users don't follow instructions sorry.
For example, you complained about downloading everything that is offered, when INSTALL.md clearly says right at the very beginning to download only install.bat.

The test of the programs is very poor due to poor information about the engine alignment in the match and the rest of the match information.
