Carlsen will lose his first white game by underestimating Непомнящий's form. After that, he will suffer from the well known anger-Elo-loss phenomenon (which I am currently victim to on Lichess, seriously I lost 150 Elo this month :(), and will continue to finally lose his world champion title.

And here I was thinking I was the only one suffering from wild 100 point Elo swings over there.

So the same as how Kasparov lost to Kramnik in 2000? He underestimated Kramnik, who came to the board much better prepared.
