Re: Stockfish 15 is ready
Have they fixed the search explosion problem that has been mentioned here a number of times?

Re: Stockfish 15 is ready
I reported such a problem with position:
r3r1k1/2qb1pp1/pp2n1np/2p1P3/2R1N3/1B3N1P/PP1Q1PP1/4R1K1 w - - bm Nf6+;
Stockfish 15 at least behaves nicely on this one.

Re: Stockfish 15 is ready
Thanks Anst, I'll search for some of the other reported positions in the next few days and see how they go.

Re: Stockfish 15 is ready
Stockfish speed is going down steadily. 6 core bench i5:
SF14 14,4 Mnps
SF14.1 13,1 Mnps
SF15 11,0 Mnps
I really miss classic or asmfish .

Re: Stockfish 15 is ready
I'm not seeing that slowdown with SF15 here, not on the standard bench command anyway (1 thread). Just a tiny bit slower than 14.1, maybe 1-2%, if at all.

Re: Stockfish 15 is ready
Well it varies a bit between runs, on 12 threads here:
14.1 - 26.7 Mnps
15 - 25.6 Mnps
So 4-5%
14.1 - 26.7 Mnps
15 - 25.6 Mnps
So 4-5%
