New in Chess article on Odds Chess
The latest issue of New In Chess has a major article (even pictured on the cover) by me on odds (handicap) chess. Naturally, it has a lot of information about computer vs human odds games. Those who have read everything here since 2007 will know most of it, but for everyone else there is lots of new information. I hope this will lead to more engine vs GM odds matches.

All I see is a free thumbnail view. Nothing happens when clicking on the digital option button.

Maybe this link works here:

You do have to create an account first so it does mean you might get New in Chess ads in your mail. If you have an existing account that is no longer active it should be possible to use that, but then you will already have read it in your mail. I have not yet downloaded anything I have forgotten the password but it should still be somewhere, I am just not a subscriber at the moment.

Re: New in Chess article on Odds Chess
Off topic to this thread but maybe important to our discussions about the forum: I have had two instances of emails not arriving in last couple of months, one important from new glasses when they were ready, that e-mail never arrived so I did not know they were ready. So please if it is important, check if email you sent has actually arrived or you did not get an email when you expected it, because it is not 100% reliable anymore. This in relation to communications in the forum because we know important communications in the past regarding the forum also did not arrive for a while.
