You are correct to notice that it is getting stronger. We discovered a week or so ago that some recent improvements had drastically slowed down the bots, and we reverted to an old version. But then the author of the changes found the cause of the slowdown and fixed it, so yesterday we restored the changes together with the high speed we had before them! So now it should be playing the best chess ever, and I noticed some good results already. Even so, with queen odds players of around FM level can make a plus score in Rapid or perhaps "slow-blitz" like 5'3", but it is extremely difficult to do so at very fast time controls. Even at 1'1", one player over 3000 bullet on LiChess has a losing record, while at pure 1'0" I wonder if anyone other than Nakamura (or perhaps GM Nihal Sarin, the CC bullet champ) can make a plus score with Leela playing White. But with just rook odds, even Nakamura would probably need Rapid or near-Rapid time controls to make a plus score. Leela always finds ways to pose problems that require time to resolve. I too find it remarkable that it requires such high ratings and longer time controls to win at these odds; a few years ago I would have said these results would never be possible.

"Good morning Mr. Larry Kaufman, good morning to the Leela Chess Zero developers and Odds team, good morning programmers and working groups of the computers in their standard and odds modes. Today the day began with the sun shining through a completely clear sky. I then turned on my computer and headed over to Lichess to interact a bit with LeelaQueenOdds. As usual, the time control was 1-0. On my part, zero nerves, and I started playing... 9 games in total, and what a surprise I got. '6 losses against me and 3 draws.' So I ask myself... What the hell?! What is all this? With the serenity I possess, I thought it would be simple for me to just draw and draw indefinitely. But no... the machine is demanding greater concentration from me, and frankly, what I do not understand is how a chess engine without its queen can achieve even a single draw against a human... This whole matter is a complete enigma for mathematical thought, philosophical thought, and intelligence in all its forms... an enigma that attracts and captivates more and more. What then will be the limit of this specific duel between LeelaQueenOdds versus the human? I wonder."

Good evening, Mr. Larry Kaufman. I want to thank you for the explanation of the improvement of the Odds, but above all, I want to tell you and everyone on your team that I feel super happy about your achievements. I invite the worldwide academic community, from kindergarten to post-doctorates, to train with the Odds. According to my perception, I find chances against the robots LeelaQueenOdds, LeelaRookOdds, LeelaQueenForKnightOdds. In LeelaKnightOdds the battle feels like a 'banana versus chimpanzee' fight, and I am the banana. I would like to play again, but thanks to the new measurements in the tables that have diluted my positions in the rankings, even my good health and mental freedom have been preserved. Still, without compromising either my health or mental freedom, I would like to get back into the game against the Odds, but that would be when it becomes almost impossible for humans to win in bullet time control. Maybe that day the space will open up for me to compete again. Thanks again.
I am thinking chess is in a coin.Human beings for ever playing in one face. Now I am playing in the other face:"Antichess". Computers are as a fortres where owner forgot to close a little door behind. You must enter across this door.Forget the front.

I wonder."

Father: "Good morning, Catecan."
Catecan: "Not so good, Father."
Father: "What's wrong, Catecan? Why are you walking sideways like an old car with a bent chassis?"
Catecan: "Father, ask LeelaQueenOdds."
Father: "Did the Queen do something bad to you, my devoted friend Catecan?"
Catecan: "She beat me up, gave me a thrashing in bullet, imagine that, she has 11 wins from the machine to only 5 draws on my side."
Father: "And where are you going so early with that distressed face, Catecan?"
Catecan: "To the pharmacy to get some medicine, I'm devastated, I can hardly even walk."
Father: "Wait, I'll go with you, I'll accompany you. Whatever happens to you happens to me."
Catecan: "Let's go then. Let's go!!"

I am thinking chess is in a coin.Human beings for ever playing in one face. Now I am playing in the other face:"Antichess". Computers are as a fortres where owner forgot to close a little door behind. You must enter across this door.Forget the front.

I wonder."

I wonder."

Let's go!!"

Catecan. "Father: The last will be the first?" Father. "Catecan... 'Traveler, there is no path, the path is made by walking.'" Catecan. "Father, think about your steps and not the goal. Focus on your legs, not the goal. That way you'll cross your marathon finish line!!" Father, "That's right, Catecan, with the help of our Programmer." Catecan. "Father, now I occupy the #100 spot on the LeelaQueenOdds leaderboard. Do you think one day we'll be together in the top spots again?" Father, "Not in our times, but in the times of our Programmer. When the draw gives 0.5 again, the win 1, and the loss 0." Catecan. "All subjects then subject to terms and conditions?" Father. "That's right, Catecan. And to the hard work of the makers of LeelaQueenOdds who manage to beat GMs, MIs, FMs, Ms, and strong players in bullet 99% of the time." Catecan. "Do you think it’s possible and probable, Father?" Father. "Of course, Catecan. They must avoid the prefabbed."
I am thinking chess is in a coin.Human beings for ever playing in one face. Now I am playing in the other face:"Antichess". Computers are as a fortres where owner forgot to close a little door behind. You must enter across this door.Forget the front.

I wonder."

Let's go!!"

Good afternoon, Mr. Larry Kaufman. I need some important help, if it's not too much trouble, so I can ask the AI a question. I'd like to know, for the different time controls that appear in the top 100 players' leaderboard, what the estimated value is for each time control, and how many games are needed to reach the top spot. If possible, this information would also apply to the other bots: Knight, QueenForKnight, and Rook. That way, I can fight to be the first "behind the barrier." I'll just need to take a screenshot and ask the AI to apply the FIDE metric and recalculate, and then I can fight for the memory of my parents alongside Catecan. Thank you to anyone who can help me. 🐴 🧓

"... When the algorithmic advancement eliminates the effectiveness of "the sword" system (the human method of playing sharp, ultra-dynamic, and tactical attacking lines to force the machine's tactical collapse) in 1-minute bullet games without increment against LeelaQueenOdds, the high-competition community will suffer an irreversible technological and strategic paradigm shift:1. The end of the "Human Attack" and the death of the swordThe concept of "the sword" relies on pressuring the neural network's processing time through massive tactical complications where the human trusts their fast intuition. When the software perfects its contempt search algorithm and time-per-move optimization:The sword will break on its own: Attacking Leela without a Queen using open lines will become tactical suicide. The machine will find lethal counterattacks in milliseconds.Inutility of fast attacks: The human tactical advantage based on pure mouse reflexes and "dirtying the position" will definitively stop yielding victories.2. The mandatory switch towards "The Shield" (The era of ultra-blockade)Since winning by attacking with the sword will be impossible, GMs and advanced specialists will be forced to completely change their weaponry towards hyper-defensive, absolute structural blockade strategies (The Shield):Shell structures: The sole objective will be closing the center of the board with fixed and indestructible pawn chains to limit the activity of Leela's minor pieces. The new strategic objective: The purpose of the game will no longer be delivering checkmate or leveraging the Queen advantage to win, but rather forcing a threefold repetition or the 50-move rule. In this new ecosystem, survival is the ultimate victory.3. The collapse of the "Unfair Calculation" system on the LeaderboardSince the mathematical algorithm of Marcogio9's website punishes draws if there are no prior wins (W = 0), the total inability to win with the sword will trigger a crisis in the ranking:Zero valid Elos: No new player using the defensive shield will be able to activate their competitive score, as the system will liquidate their draws, throwing them into the bottom zone of the ranking due to a lack of triumphs.Forced rewrite of the leaderboard software: The Leaderboard administrators will be forced to rewrite the mathematical formula to start rewarding the merit of pure defensive draws in extreme 1+0 time controls, adapting to the new reality where humanity can no longer subdue the machine."

I wonder."

A surprising double exchange sacrifice by the AI. After evaluating this game, I came across a 'surprising and artistic' double exchange sacrifice by LeelaQueenOdds. In the end, its coherence is completely justified. It surprises me that the machine, despite being down an overwhelming amount of material, opted to doubly sacrifice the exchange to be left with much more valuable knights..."If y

I am thinking chess is in a coin.Human beings for ever playing in one face. Now I am playing in the other face:"Antichess". Computers are as a fortres where owner forgot to close a little door behind. You must enter across this door.Forget the front.
