Dear Sedat,
it's really very interesting to test this out with longer time controls.
Critter 0.90 JA x64 is very very strong. In the morning Critter 0.90 JA x64 won a nice tactical game vs. Houdini 1.5 x64. Have a look in the Replay-Zone. In an other still running game Houdini 1.5 x64 will beat Critter 0.90 x64 in a complicated endgame position.
Perhaps Critter 0.90 x64 is an engine which is stronger with longer time controls.
Naum 4.2 and Shredder 8 played a great first round. Not easy to beat this engines with longer time controls.
I think clear is ...
Houdini 1.5a x64, Rybka 4 Exp. 42 x64 are under the latest four and played the final round.
Not clear is ...
IvanHoe B49jA x64 (bad time management in the first round, not stronger with longer time controls I think).
Stockfish 2.0.1 JA x64 don't have a big ELO advantage to Critter 0.90 x64.
Naum 4.2 x64 and Shredder 12 are good for a little sensation and perhaps one of this engines comes under the latest four.
After all what I saw my tip:
1. Houdini 1.5 x64
2. Rybka 4 Exp. 42 x64 (perhaps the different between Houdini 1.5 x64 and Rybka 4 Exp. 42 x64 isn't 35-40 ELO with longer time controls, possible are 20 ELO only with longer time controls, I don't know. But absolutely possible that Rybka 4 Exp. 42 x64 will make the first place!
3. Critter 0.90 x64
4. Stockfish 2.0.1 x64
Best

Re: Perfect 2011 opening book!
Hello Frank,
Oh,yes,i forgot to mention also Critter 0.90,it seems in slower time controls the Critter engine plays quite strong too
Right now i have replayed the game:Critter-Houdini
Really very interesting game,yes...the opening was B80 Sicilian Scheveningen, very dangerous/critical opening for both sides
BTW, at least i feel good that the current game is lost due to not using weak opening book line (the current opening moves are one of the strongest/recommended by many book experts)
And before final release of P2011 book,i will check all games played in SWCR Champions League (i hope the Champions League will not continue long time
)
Note:Perfect 2011's 1. Nc3 c5 ... is enabled to reproduce more Sicilian openings
Best,
Sedat

Re: Perfect 2011 opening book!
Hi Sedat,
thanks for the information.
You must have a look in the latest game Deep Fritz 12 vs. Critter 0.90 x64. Also great what Critter 0.90 x64 do. Very fast and strong got the engine the advantage and won.
At the moment the latest three games from Round 2 Group 09 are still running. I think in the late evening a made the database update. For minutes I start the last game Deep Fritz 12 vs. Komodo 1.3 JA x64.
Please wait of the database update (Deep Fritz 12 games are not in Replay-Zone). Game comments from GUI aren't compatible with the Java Tool by Michael Keating I used.
