David unfortunately offered advice when Magnus was ‘stuck’…Magnus asked “How?”…
But this is a completely different story. Fine with me if people want to argue that Carlsen should be banned for life, but it has nothing to do with the alleged engine cheating by Niemann and the wider perceived problem of engine cheating.

I don't want to argue about bans for anybody.

I was just pointing out that Carlsen has cheated at least once as well.

I detest cheating.

He made a mistake, that's right. Comparing this with intentional cheating is still ridiculous.
Intentional? Why do you have a bunch of titled players watching you play a money online tournament and kibitzing? Magnus certainly isn’t the only to do this. Seems it’s pretty commonplace in chess streaming. It’s certainly not “unintentional.”

Anyhow, whether intentional or not, cheating is cheating. Ridiculous are those who rationalize a difference.

Could be worse... I hear there are some people who can't discern anything.

Serious...did anybody say that? I don't think so....certainly don't recall anyone unless it was one of the 'Hans Cheerleaders' (each side has them). Pay no attention to cheerleaders from any side. They are just 'furniture'.
