GRAND BLITZ TOURNAMENT

I'm introducing you to the Grand Blitz tournament where 100 engines from division 1-6 + some request from authors,will be playing the swiss 50 Rounds and it will take well over 20 days(Around 2500 games).

Engines use their own Book
1+1 Time Control
P4 2.6 GHZ
Arena 1.1 (for Swiss)
No Ratings Limit
Updates not allowed during the tournament
Engines without severe bug
Only WB/UCI and not CB native or stand alone chess programs.


Engine Prediction Contest for Grand Blitz Tournament:

Anyone can participate in this contest.

Contestants may choose 3 engines for top 3
and 3 engines for bottom 3 (we are talking about strength here again) and if you want to send them to me without others knowing what you have picked, you can send me the pm.

As for how the points in bottom 3 prediction works:

Those who score the least points win! and therefore we have 2 competition.

Who can Participate?
All of Division 1 to 5 Engines, Top 8 Division 6 Engines,Top 2 Division 7 Engines + some Request from Authors.
If the author of some of the engines don't see their engines in the list,they can register it with me by mail, pm or replying to this message here,No ratings limit. Some places are reserved for authors with special requests.

Hi Daniel,

I wonder if Strelka is a legal engine?Has the GPL license problem been resolved and what has been said in the final debate about strelka?and even CCRL do test Strelka,so I guess it is nothing wrong with including it in the tournament, I don't know but I will ask around.

The tournament has not yet begun and is still in registration process, You might want to change the bottom 3 prediction though once even lesser rated engines join the tournament by the request from authors.
