When will Fruit or Toga become MP friendly?

Post by M ANSARI »

I have watched with great interest the development of both Fruit and its derivative Toga. I am wondering why there is no MP support for either. It seems like it is long overdue. The new version of Fruit is quite strong and it would be very nice to see MP support for it. I think a simple MP implementation ala first generation MP Rybka should be quite easy to do and should work well for up to 2 processors without efficiency concerns. Almost everyone's computer is already at least dual core, so it would seem a good idea to add MP support.

I strongly second your words Majd 8-)
_No one can hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard you can hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward….

In short: it's already been done, but it's not worth having (yet). I don't have enough time anymore to continue the development, but anyone who is interested just PM me.
