Playchess or circus ?

What is happening with the playchess server?....Have sysops absolute powers??.....Until about a week ago...I had 2 accounts there...rdan1987 and the other wily3....both over 2000...Now when i try to log in I get a message "Your IP-adress or machine is curently not allowed at the server"....like i've been some kind of an ordinary cheater or something...I have to mention that I have a FIDE rating of 1981 and NEVER used software assistance with those accounts....also I don't have a serial number...and I wouldn't mind if they guestified those accounts....but NO....they banned my IP...amazing....So my question is: What HAVE I DID WRONG ???

Became a citizen of ex-Soviet republic (or ex-Soviet satelites from east Europe) -- and be happy with an acount without a serial number.

free accounts can last for 3 months if you have enough applauses to your credit. usually it lasts for 1 month.

Get the serial, it's better. It's cheaper. You could get it free if you buy fritz 11, I have it.

My very dear Dan R . lives in an ex-Soviet satellite -that's right . But ........he was the single beneficiary of the serial number of my legal copy of Fritz 11 ( until December 2008 ).Who guess why my Dan R. is now like a lion in cage and very angry against ChessBase ? And why uses free accounts ?

This is hard to figure out. For a while I thought that some 3rd world countries could play there free ... but now it seems that is gone. So much for being from a 3rd world country ... we never get any more breaks

I am always asked for a serial number as well even though I put tons of serial numbers since I have so many copies of different Chessbase products. Usually if you complain about it they will send you a new serial number. I don't complain anymore since the only problem is that you cannot chat ... and I kinda like that one.
