Winboard forum & the activation key mail....

Post by Dr.Wael Deeb »

....well,it must be a loooong distance from my home to the location of the winboard forum,I am waiting for the mail for the third day now

So don't get upset when someone tells you that this a sect or a private club or whatever....

I have the most normal intention to join, read, post and keep this milestone forum up and running, but it seems that the sickness of the membership policy is getting worse....

I would be extremely surprised if Olivier Deville would have something personal against you. He's pretty much the nicest guy I've ever met in the computer chess field.

I don't know what to suggest, other than maybe:
1) Try the "I forgot my password" link on the login screen. Who knows, there's been a few technical problems porting the forum to the new server, so maybe that would work.
or
2) Try using Tom's Live Chess Viewer to connect to the OpenWar/ChessWar chat room, he's often there and you can chat with him directly (chesswar.dyndns.org Port 16043 or 16044)

I still have administrative privileges over there and confirm you are in the member list. As the registration process is running automatically I assume the mail is either in your spam folder or lost.

Olivier reacts to mail. This post is off-topic here, but you like public mud-throwing. Don't expect further replies or actions from my side.
