Thanks, that is what i was going to say :D

This is basically the ACCA version (with anti-Rybka stuff in it ).

The hash size is now tunable, there is a significantly faster x64 version (which did not play in ACCA), there is a smaller if not better book and above all there is now a readme.txt  !!

Cheers

François

Thanks François for this fine chess engine, will be tested for sure :D

P.S.the most attractive new feature in the pakage is the readme.txt file,a big achievement

I downloaded it and installed in shredder gui, but it does not work. After book moves are exhausted, the program does nothing.
What???

so it must be a lack of communication between the engine and the GUI and I'll tell you why is that:
Unless there is a command line -winboard entered somewhere, the engine is practicaly dead....
If you use Arena, there is such a command line where you can type -winboard....

Hi Fernando,

the only way that you can use Winboard engines under the Shredder GUI is by using the wb2uci adaptors.

Ok, thanks. In fact I already fixed the problem simply using Arena.
