(13.5-1.5) Shredder 11

What Rybka 3 is doing to 3 engines that are not exactly lightweights in the computerchess world is just nothing short of insane- Rybka 3 has only 3 losses in 47 games played!

George,

I just finished an engine match with Rybka 3 v Fritz 11 and got similar results, Rybka 3 v Fritz 11 - 137 games at 5'+5", 103-34, a completely dominating performance by Rybka 3. Eliminating the draws the result is 79-10 for Rybka, that is Fritz 11 can win only about 1game for every 8 games it loses.

In my 20 years or so of following computer chess I do not recall one program so outclassing its competitors.

Some details:

1 Rybka 3 32-bit +79/-10/=48 75.2% 103.0/137
2 Fritz 11 +10/-79/=48 24.8% 34.0/137

Time: 5'+5"
AMD Athlon 64 3000+ single processor, 32 bit
132 MB Hash
Each with own book
No EGTBs
ChessBase Rybka 3 GUI (Fritz 11)
The Rybka 3 32 bit program from the Deep Rybka 3 ChessBase DVD

Games in .ChessBase, .cbv available on request to
