Good one. I'd guess the beta Romi is about 100 elo better. Will there be an MP support?

Well I said before that P3k would be my last release and that I would only be working on my new engine. However I have had no time to work on a new engine. :(

I have had time to make changes to RomiChess and test them while I am busy with other things. My latest test results are:

RomiChess96e - Hamsters2 : 72.5/100 63-18-19 (01111=01111=0=11111==111011111111=100111011=1011010=1=11==111010=0111=11011111101=1101=11=1=1=1=1001) 73% +173

RomiChess96e - OliThink : 68.5/100 57-20-23 (10111=0011101==1=00===10=10=111=110111111=11110=11=0010=1=1111==0=11011011=111111=10101===1011110111) 69% +139

These are two new records against two very different programs and so I am happy to release a new version, P3L, in a few days after taking care of a few minor details.

This new version is performing at about CCRL 2650 and while it is probably not that good, I am sure that it is stronger than P3k!

I found in my new eval code where I made a serious chess thinking error.

It is fixed and a new test is underway.

A 3000+ performance that I am sure will plumit like the American stock market. :lol:

But, it is a nice start, anyway! :D

RomiChess96 - Danasah285 : 3.0/3 3-0-0 (111) 100% +1200
RomiChess96 - Glaurung-32bit : 2.0/3 2-1-0 (101) 67% +123
RomiChess96 - Hamsters2 : 2.5/3 2-0-1 (11=) 83% +275
RomiChess96 - OliThink : 2.5/3 2-0-1 (11=) 83% +275

Edit: No losses in the fourth round, so only one loss so far!

RomiChess96 - Glaurung-32bit : 2.5/4 2-1-1 (101=) 63% +92

I have included the games, because they seem of higher quality than before.

Just step aside or you might have a bit of heat
Covid covid runs through the town all day
Can the people ever change their ways
Sherwin the covid's after you

Re: RomiChess, making progress!

Glaurung and Dana are the only ones out of your list that I would chose to test against Romi. The other two arent much of a challenge to romi I am afraid. Go to sleep Mike.. :lol:
