Isn't the score now 6-3 to Anand? And isn't it up to 12 games, with Kramnik being the challenger? And is it not therefore that a 6-6 tie means Anand keeps his title?
Therefore hasn't this now been accomplished, that Anand already has his 6 points and keeps his title?
So why is this not yet ended?
I'm surprised WC is not ended and Anand not declared WC yet.

Because the rules have changed: In the past, the old champion retained his title in the case of a tie, but now, but now there are tie-break games. At least in theory, Kramnik can still win the match.S.Taylor wrote:Isn't the score now 6-3 to Anand? And isn't it up to 12 games, with Kramnik being the challenger? He has to get 1 more point to win the title, or so I infered from the press
Conference.
