Post by Werner »

Hi all :-),
our updated rating lists are now online and can be found under the attached links.

40 / 120:
There is no update this week. But in our forum you find the newest results with Naum 4 x64 4CPU against different engines: http://cegt.foren-city.de/topic,167,-na ... -4cpu.html
Heinz too started matches with 40/400 repeated:

This week we added 1244 games made with 37 engines to our list. See more in our list "Games of the week". In total our 40/20 list is based now on 302.411 games.

New engines:
We have started matches with Glaurung 2.2 x64 4CPU and Cyclone 2.3 4CPU. The start-ratings do not show very much. More games are needed.
Tornado 2.1.37a did make a great progress and is around another 100 points better than previous version: 2527!! We played with 1CPU version.

Very interesting. They play white/black on the same position (I hope so for such a time consuming endeavour)? Is there a page for these 40/400 games? How many games they will play? My impression is that Naum is improving on Rybka on Very LTC and solid hardware.

Kai

Thanks for the great work. BTW, the filter to show the best single engines in 40/20 doesn't show Rybka 3 x64 as best even though it is clearly so, with 58 Elo more than the 32-bit version.
