Deep Fritz 11 analysis of this position

Post by Arsha Mahdavi »

Hullo,

In the following position “Fritz 11” has difficulty finding the best move (even though I think the position is rather trivial!). I’m wondering how much time it would take for “Deep Fritz 11” to find out the solution.

I would be very thankful if someone could give the output analysis of a quad machine running “Deep Fritz 11” on this position.

Thanks in advance.

Really Thanks Lar!

However "Fritz 10" was much better in such positions, IMO.

Yeah, Fritz 10 is really remarkable in my opinion.

What was this first release of "Deep Fritz"? Can we call it "Deep Fritz 7"?

The first Deep Fritz release are actually Deep Fritz 6. All the others thereafter was named with a number. We (SSDF) tested it with the name that was printed on the DVD - Deep Fritz.

My original box says 2001, "Deep Fritz is based on the Fritz 6 program."
Seems Lars Sandin has accurate info based on my DVD label and the info in the DVD case. Only the name Deep Fritz is printed on the DVD.
It seems to me that Deep Fritz (6) was the first Deep Fritz, released in 2001.
