Somebody should make you a more up to date ZCT compile. 0.3.2494 was the Version used for CCT11.

Hi Kenny,

I always use the most recent publicly available version in my Amateur Series.

Cheers, Graham.

Yes, the lazy author should make an update one of these days.

Actually, there were at least two bug fixes that should help/not hurt playing strength on one processor: one caused a random move to be chosen sometimes at the end of a search, and one which might cause too much time to be used.

I'm going to try and fix all the SMP issues before I make the next release. It's running pretty stably on quads, but it hangs every once in a while (much more often on an octal, as seen in CCT).

Another question if you don't mind too much: Has Amundsen been dropped from the Amateur series? I don't see it in the lists since the 8th series division 6.

Unfortunately, I can't get the latest version of Amundsen working under any GUI, so I've had to drop it for now. :(

Wow, I haven't had any troubles with it at all under Xboard. 0.70 was a bit buggy, but I find that 0.75 has been a big boost in strength.
