from the example, it seems you score higher for guessing ChessHero's move than you do if you guess Ivanchuk's move.

still, it's interesting, curious to know if it works with a fen string as a pgn game, that is consistent with the pgn standard I think.

Doesn't work on x64 windows. Those who used it I know (on 32 bit) said it could be better.

It's a nice idea.

The program is working fine for tactical positions, but at times it is a pain to guess a move the engine could consider best in very open positions. The program is accepting solutions within 10 cp range of the best move.

It's working over here on my 64bit system.

Here it looks for a log file....Chesshero.exe.log....and then dies.

I even created the file to see if I could get by the error box but no way.

What directory did you install it to? Maybe that's it.....

I have enjoyed using it with rybka 3 and some kasparov pgn's - only irritating thing is you can't easily see the actual move of the game without exporting the game (as far as i can see) but on a plus side it throws at you mundane positions rather than out of this world test positions which hurt your head after a while :lol:
