The weak point are the three Shredders in the test enviroment, but they have very precise ratings and I want to use that. Nevertheless I am really astonished by Stockfish! Congratulations to the programmer!

Thank you for sharing the list!

Interesting to see that there are three engines so closely coupled:

8 Shredder Bonn : 2623 10 10 3000 50.8 % 2618 40.0 %
9 Zappa Mexico II x64 : 2621 6 6 8300 46.5 % 2646 40.4 %
10 Stockfish 1.4 JA 64bit : 2618 15 15 1200 54.0 % 2590 38.4 %

For some reason I don't see Thinker anywhere on the list. It should also be around equal strength... Is that intentional choice?

Sure it is.

Thinker is ...

1. no UCI
2. not giving honest output!

At least to my knowledge.

2nd Point is making it hard to detect clones ... so I refuse to test it and actually i dont understand why other do!

I know, with that reasons I should throw out others as well, but I cant miss the best engines!

It is very boring to test an engine that hides its thinking.

Matthias.
My engine was quite strong till I added knowledge to it.
