Proprietary Chess graphics?
A gaming site I am a member of has a particular (I think) piece design that appeals to me. It looks standard design, but on closer inspection it seems different than most. So I took a screen capture of the board with the intention of using the graphics for my own program which is on the net. Do you think the site owners could take any kind of legal issue with that, if they wanted to? I mean, it's not like it's gonna cost them any lost revenue or anything.
