CCC Vs The Big Bad Bear.

Post by Anton »

Here is the plan.

I will run the Big Bad Bear on an EEE Pc 701.

Image

The game starts from the standard opening position. The Big Bad Bear will play with the black pieces.

When 3 different members post the same move, then that will be the move for the white side.

For those of you that do not like the Big Bad Bear, this is your chance to kick its Ass, or watch its Ass getting kicked.

Any takers? the Big Bad Bear is ready and waiting for your first move...

:P
_No one can hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard you can hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward….

For some it is  you can replace big bad bear with cute cuddly bear, or any other descriptor that suits you

Is CCC afraid of The Big (Bad?) Bear?

To get through the opening, any sensible moves posted will be enough to get the game rolling

The time control depends on the move made by the forum, Big Bear will be constantly thinking about the current position. If the move chosen by the forum matches the Big Bear's chosen line, then the timecontrol could be very long, otherwise I will give it 30 minutes minimum to pick a move.

I will post Big Bear's move, the depth reached, and the time taken.

No opening book will be used. Hash size=1024mb.

Big Bear has thought for 30 minutes, (depth 22), and rather predictably has picked

2.Nf3

... I expect you will now wait till 2 more people play 2.Nf3 ?

Matthias.

I thought it would be a good idea to get the game rolling, perhaps it would be enough if two people agree on a move in the opening phase, otherwise it will be Matthias vs the Big Bear

I am open to suggestions on how best to run the match, and I hope others will join in.

regards,

Anton.

Hi Audy,

Nf3 it is, Big Bear was expecting that of course, and replies with the inevitable
