Questions about different engines ... clones?

Hi there,

I can find on different user tourney engines like:

Belka
Strelka
Tankist
The Mad Prune
Rocket
Hustle

Different seems to be strong.
Are all these engines clones?
Clones from which one?

Is a webpage available with information in detail?

Sorry for another topic to clones but in the latest three years I don't try all the new engines and don't read the fora.

If the admins don't like this message please delete it.

But the information by others would be interesting for me.

TheMadPrune is a GPL derivative of Toga, so perfectly okay to use.
The others are not GPL and are widely considered to be clones.

Hi Graham,

this information by yourself is all what I search.
Will give "The Mad Prune" a second look.

For around two month I look in version 1.652.
I think around 200 ELO weaker that the latest official Fruit version. Perhaps I made a mistake in the configuration.

From the others I have in my brain to look only in version 2.0 from Strelka because different German testers used Strelka for an ELO-Ratinglist.

Tank is suppose to be the same as robb.
Tank is as strong as Rybka.
