Which will give me the biggest bang (KNS) for my buck? Any help would be very much appreciated.
In other words I don’t want to pay hundreds of dollars more for the same/near same KNS that something allot cheaper could have gotten me. So please tell the best value vs. KNS

Find a laptop with dual core duo & Windows 7 64bit. The rest is up to you.

I don't know if it is in Walmart's offered range, but I think I would look for something with an Core i7 equivalent and Windows 7. There are laptops with two Quad processors, I believe somebody else here on the forum recently was asking about this? But they are very few. Maybe an Intel i5 is also an option, because more affordable, if you plan to run Rybka see this post: http://rybkaforum.net/cgi-bin/rybkaforu ... #pid202084
I don't know if the i5 is more energy efficient than i7, which would be a pre for a laptop, battery life etc.
