CCT 12 - Open for registration!

Hello everyone,

After discussion on the CCC and via email, February 20-21, 2010 has been decided as the event date.

The time control will remain the same at 50 + 3. The time zone this year will be UTC+1, so please login to FICS once you have your account and type "date" without the quotes to see FICS' timezone and make the adjustment. We switch timezones every year so that the burden of staying up all night to participate doesn't fall on one hemisphere all the time.

As for registration of accounts on FICS, please fill out the registration form on the CCT Website and send it to me at td@cctchess.com. I will handle the rest of the registration procedure from there to ensure all accounts are activated and done in a timely manner.

We will be using the mamer bot on FICS this year for pairings. I am a Tournament Manager on FICS, so this will not be an issue.

If any of the above accounts were locked due to inactivity, a new password has been sent to the registered email address to the account, and have been unlocked.
