I will post updates here after every six rounds, but those wanting to follow the tournament more closely can do so from the following link:

Games will be available for download after every two rounds.

My thoughts on how things might go in this division:

Gibbon is the favourite for promotion, but is likely to face a strong challenge from Pawny in particular.

Atak, NagaSkaki, OBender, Sungorus and Lime should do well and are the ones most likely to prove me wrong as far as the top two spots are concerned.

Clarabit, Adam, Slibo and Firefly will likely be the ones struggling to avoid relegation, although I'm not sure how much of an improvement this new version of Adam is. It could well be the dark horse in the field!

When I started testing a whole bunch of new engines earlier in the year, Slibo was the one that pleasantly surprised me with its strength. It will be my sentimental favourite for survival.

Almost the half are new releases. Better setting up a tournament and
then comment.

Best,

PS: Obender goes commercial :)

A voluntary donation is different from having to purchase the engine, so OBender remains as a free engine in my eyes and will thus be included.

However, Bearded and BlackBishop have dropped down into this division, meaning that ZCT and Firefly are now playing in Division 8.

Cheers,
Graham.

Ok. Obender is now donationsware. Lets not debate deeply
whether it is or not? :) OTOH, things change rapidly. New versions
of Obender and Bearded to be tested in new divisions and groups.

No news from BlackBishop?
