Against my own expectation I created a new version where I completely rewrote the pondering on opponent's time.

It would be nice, if someone could create fast windows executables, too
PS: For games or tournaments with ponder=off it's exactly the same as Version 5.2.3

Yes.. If you download please download now, because there was still a tiny bug in the code some minute ago, but this bug was only relevant for ponder=on and only avoided sometimes the start of a new game.
Now it looks bug free again
