Everybody make good use of everything...

Do not deceive ourselves. In chess computers as in any other field of human activity, people get ideas from ideas of other people, take some them to use them, change them, improve them, etc, etc.
In fact THAT IS THE WAY HUMAN PROGRESS GO ON.
Of course excepted is the case when you take not that idea or piece of code, but the full product. There we have plagiarism.
If Stephan took some ideas or not is moot. Of course he did! He has done that now and before. Or he -and the others-came from other planet with an entire and original set of ideas?
Did Sterphan invented alfa-beta prunning or every other technique to date?
No. He took them and used them and got a great program. The point is: no matter what you take, - and I talking of publically available things to take- the result should be a new product to add to the common richness of humanity.
