FWIW : Txxx-Tal vs Rybka 3 , 26.5 -- 23.5

4'2" / Fritz GUI / i7 @ 3.75 GHz / ponder off / no tablebases / klo_25_eco openings

This test was run with the "Hyper-Tal" setting --on--
I have no idea what that does/means , but it does seem to play stronger than having the feature --off-- I ran a similar test with HT / off , and after 30 games , Rybka led 18-12. When you load the program the HT feature is enabled , so maybe that is the default , and stronger........

Games at (hopefully )

http://ifile.it/37pcodm/Toby---Rybka.pgn

Should I have zipped this file first , or does it make any difference...... it's about a 350 KB file .........

If I counted right , +13 , -10 , = 27

Txxx rallied late in the match , winning the final 3 games in a row.........

Next up is a grudge match between the 2 suspected Clones :

Txxx-Tal vs Robbo xxx .09 x64

Well does this confirm what the owners said?More test are needed, and if this holds then this could be something big.The size of the file suggest it is not a Robbo or Ippo,Iggo clone but time will tell.I am waiting for my copy.

If you did order a copy ( and I don't advocate one way or the other ) , I would recommend loading the engine file on to your hard drive first , and from there install in to Fritz , if you are using any of those. Maybe that's a " duh " I installed it directly into Fritz 11 , and now the pointer on the engine is set to the CD drive. I've got Fritz 11 , 12 , Zappa , Rybka 3 , and in F11 ,12 and R3 , I have to load the engine from the CD ....... in Zappa , I can load it from my hard drive......... and I've got a millon Chessbase + Common Files + Engine files and can't seem to find the right file to delete to be able to start over Any ideas ? Maybe I'll just erase all my Chessbase stuff , and reload..............

Also , after 10 games , Robboxx .09 leads Txxx +4 , -0 , =6

Have you tried clicking on start and then do a search for the Tobby engine file, when found right click on it to find location then delete it and then install the Toby GUI from CD as normal and THEN load through the "Create UCI engine" that way.By the way your PGN file did not post.
