On my Intel i5, I can't get the Fritz GUI to successfully create the Bison 9.11 32-bit engine.
Anybody else had this problem? Any suggested solution?
Cheers,
Graham.

What Fritz GUI is it?! Also, try creating a file called bison911.uci in
C:\Users\<Your Username>\AppData\Roaming\ChessBase\Engines.UCI\.
In it put
[ENGINE]
Name=Bison 9.11
Author=That Bison Author Guy
Filename=<Path to Bison>
Priority=below normal <This is optional>
[OPTIONS]
<Any UCI options you want to change here>
Good luck,
Peter

I could open the exe okay outside of the GUI, but Fritz 11 woulldn't allow the engine to be created for some reason.
Ironically, no such problems under ChessGUI.
I'll let you know how I get on.
Cheers,
Graham.

That weird. I can create it fine in my Fritz 11 GUI. (I use the one that came with CB R3, but I think it's the same as all the other ones).Graham Banks wrote:Still no luck.
