NATIONAL12's challenge.Commie Comic engines

Post by mariaclara »

:D

Although NATIONAL12 did not clearly state his stand , it is apparent he's anti-"Commie Comic engines".
(pls see his post below. Maybe it's more appropriate to discuss his topic here on General Topics than in the tournament forum

He also issued a challenge:

"i would love one of you guys who is not a spokesman for them to challange me"

Well, I am not a spokesperson for the Commie Comic engines.

But I suspect you are.

Why do I suspect you.:?:

Now, if people like Graham attacks the Commie Comic engines,

this is what I have to say.

"Graham, why are you so afraid of the Commie Comic engines when
none of them are any good when you use big hardware against them, they either crash or lockup.i will admit they are good at blitz but as the russians know is useless in CC chess which i play.and i have played against these Russian guys. "

Why so scared of engines which are useless in CC chess?

Who's stupid to use them when you use big hardware against them,
they either crash or lockup. ?

" Graham if you are a sales agent of the commercial chess programs, you shouldn't get scared you will lose sales/commissions/other compensation/perks from your bosses.

Why?

These Commie Comic engines aren't for sale. They aren't competing in the chess programs market.

In case you haven't noticed, they are  free :!:

I guess the issue is whether they are giving away free someone else's stuff Ala Robin Hood

But there is no doubt that one's personal opinion of this issue is influenced by geography and political views.

 Cliff

if you're referring to pirated stuff,

may I repeat, I am against that.

so no part of my post above should be construed/distorted to mean I support piracy.

as I understood NATIONAL, he was referring to free engines "suspected" clones.

not pirated commercial engines.

maybe you should include "race, creed" to your post as factors that make up one's personal opinion of this issue.

Agree

But I think you make a good point about politics playing a role in the "chess wars"
