20TH AMATEUR SERIES (Division 1)

Ponder off
HS-Large Remis book (limited to 12 moves)
40 moves in 32 minutes repeating (adapted for the CCRL)
4 cycles 44 rounds
All engines 32-bit 1CPU
Thanks to Harald Johnsen for a script he wrote that makes it much easier for me to post round by round results and standings.
The bottom engine will face automatic relegation. Whether or not the second from bottom engine and perhaps others remain in this division will likely be determined by grading matches before the next series.

For those wanting to follow more closely

Post by Graham Banks »

I will post updates here after every six rounds, but those wanting to follow the tournament more closely can do so from here:
http://kirill-kryukov.com/chess/discuss ... f=7&t=5055
The games will be available for download after every two rounds from there.

Thanks, Graham ! My bet on Stockfish ... but it's easy :-)

No, Spark 0.4 yet ? I saw it tested elsewhere ...

You sure Booot or Delfi won't somehow make it to the top?

Yeah, I secretly hope Critter will win  but Stockfish has it easy.

Spark 0.4 was tested at CEGT, Allard gave them a special private version for testing.

Spark 0.4 is still private, so can't be used in my amateur series.
The current criteria I use are that the latest public release must be free and less than two years old.

Spark 0.4 is being tested for our rating lists though. If it's not there yet, it should appear in the next update.

Cheers,
Graham.
