I do not see the point of testing 2 identical engines in the same tournament and Stockfish 1.7.1 JA is identical to Stockfish 1.7.0 JA if you use the default parameters

This is a general procedure I am applying. I include previous version of the engine in gauntlets. In this case, you might be right. I should have had 1.6.3 instead of 1.7.1.
