In really fast games (yours are not that fast), say 50ms/move, Critter is even weaker than at long TC, it mishandles time management at that short TC. It may depend also on the form of TC, X/game, X/move or X/game+Y/move.

Yes, that would be interesting on a strong hardware like yours. You need totally 2500 games Round Robin to have 1000 games per engine. The Standard Deviation would be ~9 Elo points, maybe IvanHoe will finally show that it's a little stronger than Rybka. To complete the test you will need only ~2 days. If you are willing to test for a week or so, you could go even to 4000 games per engine, with 4-5 Elo points Standard Deviation.
