This seems generally on target but it appears that 13.0 ranked below 12.0, which I find surprising.

Hello Jon,

in the past, there were other Arasan versions that ranked below the previous version: http://computerchess.org.uk/ccrl/4040.l ... +opponents

but there are a clear progression overall, and this time even in playing style, as Fernando have remarked.

Anyway, it will be ranked at the same level as the 12.0 version, which was the stronger till now in our lists, and number of games by now and statistics ranges can overlap the differences. I'll try to run more Arasan 13.0 games in the near future.

Also be aware that 13.0 had a serious bug that was fixed in 13.1. I did not see much evidence of problems in the test games, but I noticed this position:

here 13.0 played Nxe4 - a blunder - but 13.1 plays Re7.
