Re: CEGT to SWCR comparsion!
Shortly:
CEGT tested reinforced engines with more as 1 cores and engines with 64bit. CEGT have all the older engines included. SWCR is around 2 years old and only the newer engines are included. I tested only single versions. I tested with ponder, CEGT without ponder.
40 in 10 SWCR with ponder on and Q9550 2.86GHz hardware is around 40 in 7 after CEGT conditions. CEGT conditions are 40 in 20 on Pentium IV 2.0 GHz, without ponder.
I calculated all with CEGT conditions, same ELO Shredder 12 w32 has in CEGT and of course with ELOstat. CEGT calculated with ELOstat, I used Bayesian for SWCR.
Clear to see that SWCR produced a lot of more games with TOP-30 engines from the latest two years as CEGT. CEGT have many holes in 32bit 1-Core selection, in SWCR all is included what come out in the latest 2 years (not all the IvanHoes).
Also clear to see that the attention from both list are different, wrote it before (more cores - one core, in SWCR all should be tested with x64 and w32).
This should not a comparsion which one is better!!
Only to comparsion from 101 engines, both rating list have tested so far.
