STOCKFISH 2.1.1 vs. A FEW PEOPLE

My apologies, but I am afraid this is the best I can tell you. I could search a bit and ask a few questions and tell you more, I would imagine. But who knows for sure the actual truth. I will just leave it that "it is whatever it is". I did not coin the phrase "a few people". These versions, of which there were quite a few, were only released in 32bit as far as I know. And when you run the exe, it tells you the author is "by a few people". So I will just leave it at that. And again, away we go...........

Stockfish 2.1.1.........+108-------+24/-9/=17------65.00%------32.5/50

MishasMauler12T......-108--------+9/-24/=17------35.00%------17.5/50

The only thing in conclusion I can tell you is:

1. Stockfish is an extremely strong engine.
2. This is the worst performance by far I have ever seen from one of the many Mauler engines. Of course the play by Stockfish had a whole lot to do with that.

So take the PGNs and study them a bit. Then possibly you will have more insight. Only remember Christmas is near, and I hope the backlog of PGN orders will not keep you from receiving them within 24 hours.

And to each of you: "Merry Christmas and Happy New Year"!
