DeepSaros Rolls On- Claims Another Victim!

DeepSaros 2.3j vs Stockfish 2.2.1


I actually thought the latest Stockfish version would win this match, but it wasn't even close. Saros took off quick and never looked back.

Engines can't think- so it is not possible, but it certainly looks as if DeepSaros plays "up to" or "down to" its competition- only giving the bare amount of effort needed to win. Perplexed as to its next opponent. I know it cannot win a match against Critter 1.4, which is only a half step behind Houdini now in 32bit. But there is no other competition left. We'll see.

Thank you Dr. I am going to start a match between DeepSaros and probably the Ivanhoe version in 32bit I consider the strongest. Most will tell you it is 46e-bullshit. Oh, it is strong as hell. But it cannot play with the strongest 32 bit in existence at this time, PeterPans Ivanhoe B47f0.2 Even older, it is stronger than 46e by Peterpan. If you have Ivanhoe versions- toss any that begin with a "9"- they are KLO's compiles. Tho good compiles, they cannot touch PPs in strength. I would go into cardiac arrest if I wake up this evening and DeepSaros has stayed close to Ivanhoe B47f0.2. But I suppose stranger has happened, but that would top them all.

PS: Check back in 12 to 13 hours- and remember my prediction. This Ivanhoe had a knock-down-drag-out with Critter 1.4. It was a beautiful match- maybe the best I have ever seen.

It is a certainty you will have people say DeepSaros is just another Ivanhoe- bullshit again. Pay no attention.
