Glutton for Punishment? - DeepSaros v Naum 4.2

Post by geots »

DeepSaros ver.2.3j vs. Naum 4.2

Two reasons for this match. I will admit I was in the mood to sit and watch a bit of decapitation, and I certainly don't want people to confuse the "now-commercial" Vitruvius with Deep Saros.

It was over before it started. Because DeepSaros had already destroyed Komodo 3, Komodo 4, Rybka 4.1, Fritz 13, Stockfish 2.1.1 and Stockfish 2.2.2. In fact, it never lost a match ag. these.

Discounting the draws, Naum 4.2 started strong and won the first 3 games. It was then that DeepSaros a bit early turned on the after-burners and finished the rest of the match battering Naum 21 - 2.

DeepSaros ver.2.3j......+115-------+21/-5/=24------66.00%------33.0/50

Naum 4.2.......................-115--------+5/-21/=24-----34.00%------17.0/50

About all you can say after a match like this is..........good night.
