36TH AMATEUR SERIES (Division 7)

Intel i5 Quad
ChessGUI
256mb hash each
3-4-5 piece tablebases
Ponder off
Playchess2012-1.cgb book
40 moves in 25 minutes repeating (adapted for the CCRL)
All engines 64-bit where available
4 cycles 44 rounds
The top engine will gain automatic promotion. The second top engine might play a grading match to determine which division it will play in for the next series.

Yes - it seems that Cupcake could be outclassed in this field.

I'll probably run another tournament soon that will include Cupcake and some engines that missed out on Division 7 - Dabbaba, Adroitchess, Ziggurat and Jabba amongst others.

Just tell me if you want the newest version of Dabbaba - I am still trying to improve it...

Hi Graham,
Some of us like to see the lesser programs, that is the level of my personal rating. :) :) There is no shame in having a division 8 for also rans and qualifying.

Just a thought.

it's best if you release a new version only when you're happy to do so. No pressure from me. 8-)
The existing version could do with a few more games in the meantime anyway.
