Are there any other ICS style servers other. than FICS and ICC that are up even if now and then?

Apple wants me to implement safe chat features for ICS chat in Diamond Chess which i'm doing, but I want to also tell them i'm more a client and allow connections to other ICS style servers. Anyone ever run these? This would be on iOS, Mac, Android and Chrome Book. HG Muller's server ever up?

is it experiencing temporary down time? i cant connect on diamond on port 23 or 5000 and i set timeseal off and no text in console.

On telnet in terminal i get

do you know what the server and port are and do they allow guest logins? Also are they typically up?

Be interesting to find something up even if now and then that is used to test against on diamond. I mean it connects to FICS but you never know if you break if its not the exact FICS you expect in one area. I did find muellers variant server but it's down now but has connection credential -icshost winboard.nl

Thanks. I got nightmare-chess.nl to work as shown in terminal telnet last night using port 5000. Today fixed up the mix up in diamond and Diamond Chess on Mac for now can connect to this server and probably other custom servers.

Diamond Chess Online for iOS ( iPad and iPhone) 1.60 release yesterday can now connect to a custom fics server.
That leaves android and then all diamonds chess online's will have this option.
Diamond normally just connects to FICS and ICC.
