From human point of view this should be a draw regardless of what White plays... All Black has to do is move his King and not take the rook if White plays his rook to g2... Than draw is secured...

Not correct. White can play the rooks to the middle of the board (to e1 and d1, moving around the king). They are now ready for a break in the middle of the position. Then you can sacrifice the queen with Qa2xb3, and either the a-pawn or c-pawn become free. (Taking with axb2 keeps the position closed as long as possible for black.) Still, the knight gets out through either a3 or c3 after the a or c pawn is pushed, and then black will be busted.

edit: I see you linked a movie that essentially showcases the above solution. Any chess player of club strength will almost instantly see this solution.

This isn't actually chess; this is a sliding puzzle where at some point you start to rip out the pieces to make progress.

My engine almost instantly sees the solution with Rg1-g2, where it assumes black will capture the rook, due to the fact that it is an enormous material gain:

Code: Select all

info score cp 1919 depth 20 seldepth 29 time 600 nodes 3282189 nps 5470315 hashfull 30 pv g1g2 h3g2 h1g1 g2f1q g1f1 b5a5 f1h1 a5b5 h2h3 g4h3 h1h3 b5a6 h3h6 a6a5 h6d6 a5b5 d6d5 b5a6 d5f5 a6b6
I'm sure more advanced engines that can see a lot deeper will at some point see the queen sacrifice.

I did NOT even bothered to post any response, since the true will eventually come out, and it is much better when you let people find the answer by themselves

I do not agree that Any chess player of club strength will almost instantly see this solution.
It is not something trivial that you can be sure in some seconds that white wins and a plan take many moves when white needs to allow bxa2 and a1Q for black.
