Lc0 rating with GTX 1650 card

Post by Jouni »

I don't find any good list on web. But there is my test against 4 core Fire (2m+2s level, 8 moves book):

Code: Select all

1   Lc0 v0.27.0 610199         +4  +17/=128/-15 50.63%   81.0/160
2   Fire 8.NN.MC.3 x64 avx2    -4  +15/=128/-17 49.38%   79.0/160
So Lc0 is very close to Fire strength. With RTX 20xx it has 10x speed and about 50 ELO more.

I made all my tests with GTX 1650 and GTX 1650 super cards. Both cards are slowed down with Firestorm to a ratio of 1.3 to fit with our 1CPU list. Here is one of the results
16 LCZero 0.27.0 CUDNN (67741) 3523 17 17 1212 Games

Fire 1 cpu is there 3467. So very similar to my result! There hasn't been much/any change in 1-2 years with Lc0 nets.

GTX-1650 vs Ryzen 1CPU 3800 MHz

Lc0 CUDA 384x30-68069 vs Stockfish_21031012 @ 1CPU (SF-latest on 16.03.2021)
noob_3moves.epd
RepeatStartPosition=1
Ponder = On
TC = 1' + 1"

824 of 1000 games played

-107 +54 =663
-21 ELO

Since 16.03.2021 SF gained ~70 Elo, so today difference will be ~90 Elo on 1CPU
