You have failed to comply with the GPL as you have not copied the licence in your source code. Please rectify as soon as possible. Have a read of Copying.txt in the Stockfish root folder. Including the Authors and Contributors files is also considered good form.

I am not the author of this engine. Author has said is SF based. He has provided the source. What more do you want ?

I'm not going into a discussion whether the GPL is any good. All I'll say is that there is the obvious issue of a missing license which must be provided as per section 5:
One doesn't have to like the license - but you have to follow it.b) The work must carry prominent notices stating that it is released under this License and any conditions added under section 7. This requirement modifies the requirement in section 4 to “keep intact all notices”.
Apart from that, the modifications are not only useless but worsen the engine significantly:

Save yourself some time and hassle by not bothering with Stockfish clones that fail to provide you with any significant test.
