Best way to purchase Chessmaster / The King engine?

Over the years I’ve had all the Chessmaster programs but they’re all lost to the myriad of laptop upgrades. I’d like to access The King engine, with the aim of figuring out what Johann is doing to make The King such an amazing tactical engine (I have some ideas already)

I have Windows 11 — what’s the best way to buy Chessmaster and what are the steps to extracting The King engine to use in other GUIs (Shredder in particular)? Thanks!!

They Have a Chessmaster Forum on Ubisoft (Don't know how active it still is...its been years since last release) "The King Engine (Winboard) has been freed for a couple of decades now...There are a few copies of The Chessmaster GUI still floating around on Ebay or Amazon..... Good Luck!!
