Hello, chess lovers. Today I wanna present my engine which is fork of SugaR. The main goal of this project is to make Stockfish more positional rather tactical. I choose name Rex, because I really love lizards (I would prefer to name it Komodo, but this name already taken). It is first release, so don't judge strictly. If you have ideas or want to help me, please write here or in private messages.

So the whole goal of your stupid first posts was just to advertise another (dumb) SF clone in this forum?
Goodbye forever...

It is rather ironic that he chose the name Rex rather than Komodo since Komodo is already a chess program originally by Don Dailey and me, but Rex (and RexChess) were also by Don Dailey and me in the 1980s!
Komodo rules!
